In this outlet centre, manufacturers offer their designer clothing, often at a high discount. The centre is operated by McArthur Glen, which has outlet centres throughout Europe.

With over 150 shops and 200 brands, Designer Outlet Roermond is a true shopping mecca, attracting over 3,5 million visitors annually. A mix of fashion lovers and day trippers. Because with various restaurants and a children's playground, the brand village has grown into a real attraction. The majority of visitors are Germans. That is not surprising, because Roermond is a stone's throw from the German border.

The discounts on brands such as Adidas, Diesel, Mexx, Michael Kors, Nike, Prada, Gucci and Superdry are up to 70%. Often these are items from old collections that have been brought back from the stores. On average you pay about half of what you would pay 'normally'. After several expansions, the centre, located on the site of a former army barracks, now covers an area of ​​no less than 45 square metres, making it the largest outlet centre in Europe. This honour was previously held by Serravalle Outlet Centre near Milan – also owned by McArthur Glen.

Practical information

On Sundays and (German) holidays, the access roads can barely handle the influx of thousands of visitors. The number of parking spaces is also insufficient on the busiest days, forcing you to go to a nearby industrial estate.

You can better plan your visit on another day. You have every opportunity to do so, because the outlet center is open 363 days a year and is only closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The center is normally open during the week from 10.00:9.00 and on weekends from 20.00:3 to XNUMX:XNUMX. Parking costs XNUMX euros per day.
