Car sales are falling

In the first three quarters of this year, around 5 percent fewer cars were sold than in the same period last year. This is partly due to the fact that the rules for business additional tax have changed. Sales did increase in the second quarter, but this short revival could not compensate for the decline in both the first and the last third quarter.

The most popular brands are Volkswagen, Renault and Opel, followed closely by Peugeot. Of the top three, only Opel has sold more cars this year than last year. Out of 25e place is Tesla, with almost 1.100 units sold. More than Porsche, Jaguar, Lexus, Alfa Romeo and Subaru, to name a few renowned brands.

Did you buy a new or used car this year? What brand and model (year)? And why did you buy a new or used car?

Rather not buy a car, but a rent a car in Limburg and surroundings? That is possible at Adrem!
