Bad luck on the road in the Netherlands

Most vehicles have a manufacturer warranty. You can find the information on who to call in all of our rental cars, vans en passenger vans. No guarantee? Then they are insured by us with the ANWB and you will find this information in the vehicle you rented. Are you in doubt? Never call in a breakdown service yourself – without consultation. You will most likely not be reimbursed for these costs. If in doubt, always contact us first contact us.

Bad luck abroad

For breakdowns abroad, a separate ANWB insurance is required. This (breakdown assistance insurance abroad) can be taken out at the time of booking or when picking up at Adrem. Are you already insured for breakdown assistance abroad, for example through the Travel and Credit Letter? Then you do not need to take out (extra) insurance. In the event of a breakdown, the vehicle you rented will be repaired and if that is not possible, replacement transport will be arranged. Always be careful about advancing repairs yourself. Agree that they will ask your permission in advance. It would not be the first time that a renter has been ripped off by a foreign garage!

Despite the fact that we maintain all Adrem Autoverhuur cars excellently, it can still happen that you have a car breakdown on the road. Fortunately, that chance is very small. The percentage that has been stranded on the side of the road with a breakdown in recent years (calculated over all rental days) is: 0,0000107%.
