Parking garages in Valkenburg
In the parking garages of Valkenburg aan de Geul you also pay an average of €1.90 per hour. In Valkenburg you will find three parking garages with more parking spaces:
- At the Kei on the Sint Pieterstraat. Costs here are €2 per hour. You can park here all day if you want.
- Parking 't Centrum on the Daalhemerweg.
- Holland Casino on the Cauberg. Here they work with day tickets of €4.
Free parking in Valkenburg
Parking in Valkenburg for free; is that not possible at all? In Valkenburg you can park for free in the Parallelweg. This is a side street of the Nieuweweg that runs from the center of Valkenburg towards Heerlen. This street is located directly behind the train station of Valkenburg. You reach this street via the Kloosterweg. As soon as you enter the street, you will come across the spacious parking spaces after about 50 meters where you can park for free. You can park in Valkenburg aan de Geul until eleven in the morning. Then you don't pay anything to park. From eleven to eight in the evening you pay the rates that apply to the parking spaces and garages. In the evening you can simply park for free in Valkenburg. On Sundays you can even park your car for free until 13:00.
Please note that there is little traffic in the centre of Valkenburg
In the centre of Valkenburg there is a car-free zone, which means that cars can only get there without restrictions between 7 and 11 in the morning.
