It's not that busy, you can drive along at a leisurely pace.

Too bad, the highway is going from 3 to 2 lanes. That means merging.

But the insertion point is not for another mile and a half.

It will always be a point of contention between us.

I like to merge as late as possible. If I merge too early, I think it's a waste of the road surface that is empty after I merge. That asphalt wasn't put there for nothing, right?

Elly thinks it is much better to merge in time. You won't be able to get in between.

And that has happened to me too. You stand there waiting for someone to let you go first.

I also get angry when motorists pass me just in time (when I have already switched to the right) and merge at the very last moment.

I like that tension: not merging too late, but not too early either.

We are often asked the question: how far in advance should I reserve a van?

Well, that's asking something.

If you want to move on the weekend, I would definitely book a week in advance. (the early mover).

But there are also people who call and say: I'm moving this afternoon. Do you still have a van?

I always ask myself: Huh? Did you just decide to move, did you just get evicted, or was the dishwasher full and then you thought: I don't feel like unpacking the dishwasher so I'm going to move now? (the last minute inserter).

If you want to move tomorrow, I wouldn't call now. Unless we just had a cancellation (an early entrant who changed their mind).

Or just come to one of our branches tomorrow, grab one or more cups of coffee and wait for a van in the Urmond region returns that is no longer needed (the last-minute merger that can no longer get in).
