Our favorite parking apps

Mobile parking apps are rapidly making parking meters, parking tickets, and bank cards or coins redundant. But what are the best and most affordable parking apps? We have listed our five favorite apps for you. In random order, of course.

Yellowbrick

At Yellowbrick you can pay per transaction or opt for a subscription. If you choose the first, you pay €0,34 per transaction, which makes Yellowbrick one of the more expensive parking apps. With a subscription you pay €0,75 per week and no further transaction costs. A subscription is therefore already cheaper if you park three or more times per week. At Yellowbrick, with or without a subscription, you pay €10 registration costs.

Note: ANWB members do not pay any registration fees at Yellowbrick and receive a 25% discount on transaction costs.

Parkmobile

Parkmobile is the most downloaded and highest rated parking app in the Netherlands. At €0,25 per transaction and a subscription of €2 per month, Parkmobile is cheaper than Yellowbrick above, whether you park occasionally or a lot. In addition, you do not pay any registration fees. Note that Yellowbrick is practically as cheap as Parkmobile for ANWB members.

Parks and Parking

The relatively young Parksen, like Parkmobile, has no registration costs. You pay only €0,24 per transaction (afterwards) and even only €0,20 prepaid. Ideal if you only park occasionally. A prepaid subscription, suitable for those who park more often, costs €1,50 per month. Prefer to pay afterwards? Then you pay €1,90 per month. All this makes Parksen the most affordable parking app.

MyOrder

The On the GO! app, launched in 2017, is offered by Tango. With the app you can refuel and park on your mobile. Mobile refueling is the new refueling. At more than 500 petrol stations throughout the Netherlands you can refuel faster than ever. Download the app, choose your pump number, refuel and pay afterwards. With On the GO! you only pay 0,22 per parking transaction and you do not pay anything extra for a refueling transaction. A subscription is not necessary.

Park line

Park-line works exclusively with a subscription. The app is mainly aimed at people who park a lot and business users. For mobile parking you pay €5 per user and €2,50 per month, plus another €0,15 per transaction. For a one-off €5 and €0,50 per user extra you also get a garage card, to park in parking garages. You pay €0,25 per transaction for this.
