What do we do with parking tickets, speeding tickets and other fines?

Privately we know, then we would rather throw them in the trash. But what does Adrem Autoverhuur do when you have broken the law and we get the fine?

Got a ticket for your rental car

You probably know it: you're just a little too late back at your car and the parking attendant is writing out a ticket. You called him, but once you got to the car, the ticket was already under your windshield wiper. Wait a minute, not your windshield wiper, but ours. Some municipalities or countries do not work with tickets and you are aware of your wrongdoing. A few weeks later, Adrem receives the fine.

Will Adrem pay the fine?

Short and sweet: no. We are proud of our customer friendliness and service level, but there are limits. What do we do? Based on the details on the fine, we look up who the tenant was on the date in question. This research is done for us by an external agency. You will receive an invoice for the administration costs. You can pay this to us.

Adrem then files an objection with the fine authority and provides the tenant's details. You will then receive the fine at home after some time. You can then object to it yourself, or simply pay the fine.

Flashed abroad

If you have been flashed abroad with your rental car, do not count on a windfall. The Netherlands currently has a penalty treaty with at least the EU countries. We therefore also receive fines from, for example, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and Luxembourg.
