Because you have reserved a car at Adrem Car Rental, here is information about your reserved rental car. This information consists of 4 parts:

Returning your rental car

That's the normal course of events when you rent a car. I can tell you many stories about people who saw it differently. I will do that later. Promise!
Since you have reserved a car with Adrem, this is the latest information: about returning the rental car.
Refueling
When you rent a car, you get it with a full tank. Then it is also nice for the next renter that it is returned full.
But what do you do if you have only driven a very few kilometers? You always have to fill up with at least 5 liters, right? And nobody notices if you don't fill up? This article explains more about this: Why do I need to refuel a rental car?
Both we and the next renter would appreciate it if you return the rental car with a full tank. If you really don't have the time (or don't feel like it), we can of course do that for you. In that case, refueling costs will be added to the bill (plus the fuel costs themselves of course).
If you think after filling up: "That's a lot of litres for what I've driven", please let us know! We will then calculate whether you had to fill up too much. If so, we will refund the excess amount. Fair is fair!
Cleaning costs
We assume that you use the rental car normally, just like your own car. Sometimes we get a rental car back that has clearly not been used 'normally'. Dirty stains on the upholstery, stench, the strangest objects still in the trunk, and I could go on and on...
In special, dirty, strange and weird cases we will therefore charge cleaning costs. But rest assured: we only do that in special cases.
Smoking is not allowed in our rental cars. If you smoke, it is better to do so in a parking lot. The next renter will be happy to take a fresh car. If we notice that there has been smoking in the car, we will charge EUR 40 excluding VAT.
To hand in
Passenger cars can be returned 24 hours a day at all our locations, even outside our opening hours. Park the car near our office, remove all your belongings from the car and lock the car. You can put the key in a special key safe. We will explain how this works when you come to pick up the car.
If you return the car outside our opening hours, we will check it at the first time we are open again. You will receive the invoice by email (if we have your email address).
