SnowWorld Landgraaf: not just for winter sports enthusiasts!

Skiing or snowboarding in the Netherlands? You can do this in SnowWorld Landgraaf, among other places. One of two SnowWorlds in the Netherlands. This indoor ski slope is located on a mine waste mountain: the Wilhelminaberg, also known for the longest staircase in the Netherlands.

Five slopes plus a fun park

Opened at the end of 2001, SnowWorld was for a while the longest indoor slope in the world. It has now grown from two to five slopes, surrounded by a real winter sports resort, with cafés, restaurants and even a hotel. For a skiing holiday you no longer have to go to Austria or Switzerland!

In addition to the ski slopes, there is also a fun park, with various obstacles such as downrails and jumps. A treat for the extreme winter sports enthusiast.

SnowWorld no longer has the longest indoor ski slope in the world. However, it is still the third largest indoor ski hall in Europe. It also has the only official indoor competition slope in the world, where World Cup competitions and European championships are held.

SnowWorld recently opened an adventurous (outdoor) Adventure Park, with a climbing park, adventure trail, ziplines and a toboggan run. Did you know that this is the largest climbing park in the world? So in Landgraaf they are the largest in something!

Practical information

SnowWorld Landgraaf is open seven days a week from 9.00:23.00 AM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM.

One hour of access to the ski hall costs 16,95 euros for children (up to 12 years) and 19,95 euros for adults (13+). The discount increases (significantly) if you choose more hours. Lower rates apply in the evening. There are also extra attractive family passes.

Admission to the climbing park costs 16,95 euros for children and 19,95 euros for adults – the same price as an hour of skiing or snowboarding, although you can spend two to three hours in the climbing park for the same price. You do have to pay extra for the toboggan run. There are attractive packages that combine admission to the climbing park with one or more rides on the toboggan run. There is also a family pass for the park.

Good to know: to be allowed to climb you must be at least 1,20 m tall. This is under the supervision of an adult. Climbing on your own is allowed from a height of 1,40 m.
