In principle, you don't need to have a warning triangle in your car in the Netherlands? It is mandatory to warn approaching drivers in time if your stationary car forms an obstacle. If you are not going on holiday with your camper for a long time, it is better to have the registration number suspended? You then pay no motor vehicle tax during the time that you do not use the camper and you do not have to insure the vehicle. The vehicle also does not have to be MOT tested.

If you make changes to your vehicle, you may need to inform the RDW? For example, if you have the car sprayed in a different colour, have your car chip-tuned or have a different exhaust fitted. An additional inspection may be required. You must pay for the (re)inspection yourself.
