Will you travel with us?<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Argentina<\/h2>\n<p>In Catholic Argentina, people decorate their homes with green, gold, red, and white flowers. They also have a Christmas tree, which is traditionally decorated on 8 December, as Argentinians celebrate the Immaculate Conception of Mary. There is often a nativity scene under the tree, but Christmas cards are rarely sent in Argentina.<\/p>\n<h2>Bulgaria<\/h2>\n<p>Bulgarians believe that Jesus was born on 24th December \u2013 Christmas Eve \u2013 but that his birth was only announced on 25th December. Bulgarians therefore traditionally eat their Christmas meal on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n<h2>Iceland<\/h2>\n<p>Christmas, or Yule as they call it there, begins in Iceland as early as December 23rd, when they honour their most important saint. On Christmas Eve, the children unwrap their presents. Christmas Day is spent with the family. On Boxing Day, family is visited.<\/p>\n<h2>Kenya<\/h2>\n<p>In Kenya, people travel from the big city back to the village where most of their family lives. Father Christmas does not travel by reindeer, but by camel. After the Christmas Eve mass, many Kenyans party all day, often attending another church service on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n<h2>Philippines<\/h2>\n<p>You shouldn\u2019t be surprised if you hear Christmas carols or see Christmas decorations in the Philippines as early as September, because they like to celebrate Christmas there as early and for as long as possible. The actual Christmas celebration begins on December 16th and lasts until the first Sunday of the new year.<\/p>\n<h2>Vietnam<\/h2>\n<p>In Vietnam, Christmas Eve is more important than Christmas Day. Most people gather in the city centres and Christmas Eve is celebrated mainly in public.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>Have you ever celebrated Christmas abroad? If so, in which country?
