In Louisiana, there's a house being given away for free. It sounds like a fantastic opportunity, but no one wants it. The problem: the house is haunted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a Facebook post, the house is being offered for free. \u201cIn an attempt to save the history of the house, we are offering it to anyone interested in moving and restoring it,\u201d the post states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though this sounds like a dream come true: no one dares to take the plunge. And that all has to do with the ghost stories circulating about the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former owner of the house, Dawn Vallot DeClout, claims that the ghost of her grandmother still haunts the property. The woman, named Adele, died in 1967 at the age of 90 in the front room of the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe believe she\u2019s the ghost, but she\u2019s not at all threatening,\u201d said the former owner. \u201cShe was always stirring pots, she was known for it. When we lived there, we always heard pots rattling. You could hear someone picking up a lid, even if no one was in the kitchen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few interested parties went to take a look but dropped out one by one because they became anxious. \u201cThe house is haunted. I experienced three inexplicable things. My friend and I still talk about it\u201d and \u201cI heard a lot of strange noises in the walls and ceiling,\u201d they said, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a few rental cars that we suspected were ghost cars. This was at a time when we were still buying used cars and renting them out. Fortunately, those cars were sold before any rattling noises could be heard in them. Otherwise, we would have had to offer those for free as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the cars we are currently renting were bought new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can therefore rent it without any fear of ghosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unless ghost riding is your hobby, of course. But personally, I wouldn't with a rental car in the Geleen region <\/a>do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
