I'm a fan of the series After Life on Netflix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this series, Tony tries to get his life back on track. His wife Lisa died of cancer, and left him a few videos in which she gives him advice because otherwise he'll be a mess. Tony can only cry when he watches them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony is not listening at all to the good advice of his deceased wife. He continues to wallow in his grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He tells the psychiatrist that he would rather shoot a few people and then commit suicide than go on living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The postman (who reads Tony's mail) gets a severe verbal lashing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony's brother-in-law, who is a director at the local newspaper where Tony works, is dismissed as a boring, spineless buffoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His whole environment has to suffer for it. But they put up with it all from Tony because he is so heartbroken over the loss of his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second season (which has just been released), Tony pairs up a friend of his, sex worker Roxy, with his rude postman Pat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This makes for the most fantastic first date I've ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The postman makes all sorts of inappropriate remarks (like that he's not a rapist), but sex worker Roxy likes him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because Postman Pat is only a poor sod, they split the restaurant bill and agree to go out again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roxy has to work all night, and Pat awkwardly gives her a hand. Maybe he'll run into her tomorrow morning during his morning rounds with the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The series lays bare how clumsy we can be, and how funny wrong reactions are. I can laugh heartily at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was reminded of the couples who hire a bus from us when I saw that scene on the first date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are at Adrem studying daughter and dad, husband and wife, driver and tenant without a driving licence, brother and sister, sir and neighbour with a driving licence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These couples never split the bill. But they can sometimes be as different as Pat and Roxy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the two provides the money (the tenant, or the person who has to move), the other is the supplier of the driving licence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Moving is definitely something that's better done together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have to move house but don't have a driving licence, You are most welcome to hire a bus<\/a>.Then find a driver for it as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you have to move, you have a driving licence but you can't pay the deposit, You are also most welcome to hire a coach.<\/a>. Then you still have to find someone who wants to pay the bail...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
