Therefore, this blog will look at where you can park for free or at least cheaply in Valkenburg.<\/p>\n<h2>Parking in Valkenburg<\/h2>\n<p>Parking in Valkenburg is usually not free. This is because Valkenburg is a busy city where everyone looks for a spot to park, preferably for free. Where in Valkenburg is the best place to park your car? If you only want to pop into a shop and want to be as close to the centre as possible, it's best to park at the Walramplein, at Villa Via Nova (Reinaldstraat) or the Berkelplein in Valkenburg. In Valkenburg's shopping area, the following times and rates apply: \u20ac1.90 per hour between 11 am and 8 pm. There is usually a daily maximum of \u20ac9. In Valkenburg, you will find three car parks with more parking spaces:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At the Kei on Sint Pieterstraat. Parking here costs \u20ac2 per hour. You can park here for the whole day if you wish.<\/li>\n<li>\u2019t Centrum car park on Daalhemerweg.<\/li>\n<li>Holland Casino at the Cauberg. They work with day tickets costing \u20ac4 here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Free parking in Valkenburg<\/h2>\n<p>Is it still completely impossible to park for free in Valkenburg? In Valkenburg, you can park for free on Parallelweg. This is a side street of Nieuweweg, which runs from the centre of Valkenburg towards Heerlen. This street is located directly behind Valkenburg train station. You can reach this street via Kloosterweg. As soon as you turn into the street, you will find ample parking spaces after about 50 metres where you can park for free. Then you don't pay anything to park. From eleven until eight in the evening, you pay the rates that apply in the car parks and garages. So in the evenings, you can park for free in Valkenburg. On Sundays, you can even park your car for free until 1:00 PM.<\/p>\n<h2>Take into account car-free zones in the centre of Valkenburg<\/h2>\n<p>In the centre of Valkenburg, vehicle access is restricted, meaning that cars can only enter without restriction between 7 am and 11 am.
