Carefree car hire

At Adrem Car Rental Limburg, we like to make renting a car or van as easy as possible for you. That is why we have listed the most important things to keep in mind and to look out for.

Young drivers

Are you under 25? No problem. At Adrem you can already rent a car or van hire in the Stein region vanaf 18 jaar in onze kleinste categorie. Voor een bestelbus geldt 21 jaar, voor een personenbus 23 jaar en voor de 9-persoonsbus 25 jaar. Wel moet je minimaal een jaar in het bezit zijn van een rijbewijs.

Proof of identity

In addition to your driving licence, we require a second form of ID: your passport or identity card. We also need to see a bank statement or phone bill showing your current address. An email from your energy provider with your address will also suffice.

Deposit

To rent a car or van, you need to pay a deposit. The deposit will be offset against the rental cost. For cars from category C (compact mid-range and above), the deposit can only be paid by credit card. For smaller cars and vans, you can also pay the deposit by debit card.

Renting a car 7 days a week

Although our locations are closed on Sundays, you can still rent a car or van for Sunday. You can pick up the car on Saturday afternoon and return it by Monday morning at the latest. This counts as a normal rental day with us. You can always return the vehicle, even outside our opening hours.

Additional drivers

Fuel policy

We operate a full-to-full fuel policy. That means you take the rental car or van with a full tank and return it with a full tank. Please keep your fuel receipt. If you need to fill up more than you have driven — because the previous renter did not return the vehicle with a full tank — we will reimburse you for the difference.

Insurance and excess

All our vehicles are fully insured (third party and comprehensive). That means you are covered for damage to your own rental vehicle and damage to others. However, there is always an excess. You can partially waive this excess for an additional daily premium.

Unlimited kilometres

If you need to drive long distances, it is best to choose a rental rate that includes unlimited kilometres. For shorter trips, paying per kilometre is the better option.

Delivery or collection

Would you like us to deliver the car to a specific location? That is possible. There is an additional charge for this. A surcharge also applies if we need to collect the car from a location.

A cheaper alternative is for us to pick you up at home and bring you to our office, where the rental agreement can be arranged. After the rental we can also drop you off at home. In both cases, this surcharge is lower than having the car delivered or collected.
