Parents know it: a day out with the children can be rather expensive. So it's good to know that there are plenty of places in Limburg where you can go for a cheap day out. Avonturenland in Heerlen is one of them.
Indoor play area
Avonturenland Heerlen is an indoor play paradise, but you can also play mini golf, laser tag and indoor football. The climbing castle has two floors full of challenging obstacles. Downstairs, there is plenty to do for toddlers and young children, such as a ball pit and blocks to build a castle.
On the first floor of the complex, there are two obstacle courses. Great for a team competition. On this floor, you'll also find the mini-golf course, which you can use free of charge.
Parents can enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many tables while their children are entertained. The menu offers various lunch dishes, pancakes, full meals, snacks, chips and hot snacks.
Children's party
Avonturenland Heerlen offers various options for organising a children's party. An all-inclusive party in the play paradise, or a laser or football children's party. You can print special invitations for these children's parties on the website.
Opening hours and prices
Avonturenland Heerlen is open from Wednesday to Sunday, and during school holidays also on Monday and Tuesday from 10.00 to 19.00.
The entry fee for children up to and including 3 years old is €3.50. For older children, you pay €6, and parents get free entry. Laser tag costs €2.50 per person per game, and indoor football is €2.50 per person per hour.

Please note! Every Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, entry and all fries and snacks are just 1 euro! (A great idea if you were planning on having fries anyway.)
Location and accessibility
Avonturenland Heerlen is located on the edge of the Imstenraderbos, in the complex where the former nightclub La Diligence was housed. Many parents who now bring their child(ren) there undoubtedly used to go out there themselves. Who knows, maybe they even met each other there!
From Adrem Car Hire Heerlen, you'll join the N281 in Ten Esschen. Take the exit towards Landgraaf (South)/Kerkrade-West (close to the Roda Stadium). At the roundabout, take the second exit and, after 150 metres, turn right onto Zandweg. Drive all the way down this road, and you will have reached your destination.
