  1. Near the centre of Heerlen, you can park for free every day after 6:00 PM and at the weekend in the tax office car park at Kloosterweg 22 in Heerlen.

  2. Great for the residents who are now in trouble because of this information. Their visiting guests will have to sit on the roof. Let them park for free outside your door.

  3. Burggraafstraat is a favourite spot for people who park their cars there all day. Their own visitors, helpers, etc., can forget about it. As long as they've got their car parked there, and for free. At least you have something left of what the boss pays in travel expenses.

  4. You can park for free on Diepenbrockstraat. At the end of this street, where Gouverneurstraat begins, there is also a (small) free car park. It can be busy during the day. A 10-minute walk to ‘t Loon.

      1. I'm not getting a parking permit because I live in the centre, and the blue zones are semi-paid parking. What should I do now? I wanted to start working soon, but it's demotivating having to cycle in the rain and on slippery roads.

      2. That's not such a good tip, as it's certainly not “free parking” there: Diepenbrockstraat has been a permit parking zone for a while now (you can also park there and pay for it; the payment machine is a few streets away, for clarity and convenience?!), and residents' permits are required to register visitors. Parking wardens patrol daily.

    1. Visitors of residents with a parking permit must even be registered. Parking wardens check this daily. The fine is around €70, that's expensive ‘free parking’! So just don't do it.
