Naturally, as a car enthusiast, it's enjoyable to be able to recognise the logos of these expensive cars and know a bit more about them. Therefore, below are a number of logos with interesting information.

Bugatti

The Bugatti logo consists of the initials of the brand's founder, Ettore Bugatti. Bugatti was born in Italy in 1881 and grew up in an artistic family. His father, Carlo, was known for his special furniture designs with Moorish influences. Ettore's younger brother, Rembrandt, was a professional animalier, or sculptor of animal sculptures. Well-known artists also frequented the Bugatti household. Ettore clearly inherited his passion for entrepreneurship and art.

Ettore graduated from art college but discovered his interest in engineering was greater than his interest in art. In 1909, he therefore decided to start working as an independent car manufacturer. He designed and produced cars with flowing sculptures, which perfectly matched the artistic inclinations of the Bugatti family. Today, Bugatti is a renowned car brand primarily known for its fast, expensive, and exclusive vehicles. There are fewer than 8,000 Bugattis worldwide.

Mercedes-Benz

Gottlieb Daimler, the founder of Mercedes-Benz, passed away in 1900. The car brand needed a new trademark. His sons Paul and Adolf took inspiration from their father. They chose the star that was depicted on his house, which represented future prosperity for his growing company. Both a three-pointed star and a four-pointed star were registered as trademarks under the Daimler name.

The now-famous three-pointed star still forms the Mercedes logo today. This symbol represents Daimler's original ambition: to use engines to power vehicles on air, land, and sea. In 1916, the logo underwent minor changes. For example, the star was made silver and centred within a silver circle.

Ferrari

The rearing horse, or “Cavallino Rampante,” forms the logo of Ferrari. This symbol exudes power, unbridled strength, and speed. The story behind this logo is almost as legendary as the car manufacturer itself. Co-founder Enzo Ferrari experienced a special victory at the Savio circuit. There, he met Count and Countess Enrico and Paolina Baracca, parents of a deceased Italian fighter pilot. They arrived in an airplane bearing an image of a rearing horse and told him that this symbol would bring good luck. Ferrari chose to use this symbol for his company as well. The symbol on the logo was complemented by the brand name and the flag of his home country.
