The residents of GaiaZOO
GaiaZOO Kerkrade, formerly known as GaiaPark Kerkrade Zoo, is listed as one of the most beautiful zoos in Europe. Quite right, as far as we're concerned. One moment you're face to face with the lions of the Savanna, the next with the mighty gorillas in the Rainforest. Taiga you'll encounter animals from cold northern climates. Birds of prey show
One of the highlights of a day at GaiaZOO is the bird of prey show in the GaiArena. If you're on the top rowst, the birds of prey will swoop past your head! Climbing and roughhousing

Here you can, among other things, go there for a cup of coffee with flan, bread crumbed sandwiches and complete menus. When the weather is good, ice cream and hot dogs are sold outside.
Opening hours and admission
GaiaZOO is open every day from 10:00 AM. In autumn and spring, the park is open until 5:00 PM. In winter, it's open until 4:00 PM, and in summer, the gates close at 6:00 PM.

At the time of writing, you pay at the checkout for children aged 3 to 9 years, €16.50, and for children aged 10 years and over and adults, €20.50. But In the webshop, you pay €16 and €10 respectively for an e-ticket. Children up to and including 2 years of age have free admission.

Parking
