You're well on your way.
It's not that busy, you can drive through nicely.
Unfortunately, the motorway goes from 3 to 2 lanes. That means merging.
But the insertion point is still a kilometre and a half away.
It will always remain a point of contention between us.
I like to join as late as possible. If I join too early, I think it's a shame about the road surface that is then empty after I've joined. That asphalt wasn't put there for nothing, was it?
Elly finds it much better to insert on time. You won't be able to get in later.
And that has happened to me too. Then you stand there waiting for someone to let you go first.
I also get angry when car drivers cut me off (even when I've already moved to the right lane) and merge at the last second.
I like the tension: not joining in too late, but also not too early.

The question we are often asked is: how far in advance should I book a van?
Well. That's a question.
If you want to move on the weekend, I would definitely book a week in advance. (the early bird).
But there are also people who call and say: I'm moving this afternoon. Do you have a van?
I always wonder then: Huh? Have you just decided to move, have you just been evicted, or was the dishwasher full and you thought: I can't be bothered to unpack the dishwasher so I'm going to move now? (the last-minute mover).
If you still want to move tomorrow, I wouldn't call now. Unless we've just had a cancellation (an early bird who's changed their mind).
Or just come to one of our branches tomorrow, grab a coffee or two and wait until a Van in the Urmond region which is no longer needed (the last-minute addition that no longer fits in).
You can also book a van..Then you will automatically be informed if there is one available.
So it doesn't make much of a difference if you're a late or early adopter, moving will always work out eventually.
