Enriching day out at Continium discovery centre

The Continium Discovery Centre in Kerkrade offers an educational day out. This science and technology museum for children has plenty to experience. Through its varied range of activities and interactive exhibitions, kids can discover the world around them in a playful way.

Offer

In the Explore Zone, you can discover the wondrous world of science and technology. From the coal mines of the past to the supermarket of the future. In the Experiment Zone, you can conduct your own experiments at various stations, and in the Tinkerlab and Science Labs, you'll be building all sorts of contraptions and (technical) installations yourself.

Did you think your smartphone held no more secrets for you? In the temporary exhibition SMARTphone! – on display until 4 September 2016 – you will discover exactly how your smartphone works. From the battery to the radio signal. Finally, there is also the Hall of Fame, where all of Continium's classics are stored.

ContinuumTarget audience

You're never too young (or too old) to discover, of course, but in our opinion, the Continium discovery centre is most interesting for upper primary school and secondary school pupils.
