Breakdown on the road in the Netherlands
Most vehicles have a manufacturer's warranty. You'll find the information on who to call in all our Rental cars, vans English minivans. No guarantee? Then they are insured by us with the ANWB and you will find this information in the vehicle you have rented. Are you in doubt? Never engage a breakdown assistance company yourself – without consultation. These costs will most likely not be reimbursed. If in doubt, always contact us first contact op.
Bad luck abroad
For breakdown assistance abroad, a separate ANWB insurance policy is required. This (breakdown assistance abroad insurance) can be arranged during the booking or collection from Adrem. If you are already insured for breakdown assistance abroad through, for example, your travel and credit card insurance, you do not need to take out (additional) insurance. In the event of a breakdown, your rental vehicle will be repaired, and if this is not possible, replacement transport will be arranged. However, always be careful about paying for repairs yourself upfront. Arrange to have them ask for your permission beforehand. It wouldn't be the first time a renter has been heavily overcharged by a foreign garage!

Despite the fact that we maintain all Adrem Car Rental cars excellently, it may still happen that you break down while on the road. Fortunately, that chance is very small. The percentage that has broken down at the roadside in recent years (calculated over all rental days) is: 0.0000107%. That means that no less than 99.9999793%drive around breakdown-free.
