What does the credit card do when hiring?
When you rent a car, you always pay a deposit. This deposit is temporarily reserved in your name. With Adrem, this happens via debit card or credit card — depending on the vehicle category.

If you paid by credit card, the reservation will be cancelled – depending on your bank, it may take a few working days for you to see it.
What if there is damage?
If damage is found on the rental car, the repair costs will be deducted from the deposit. Any additional costs (such as administration fees or breakdown assistance) will also be settled via credit card or debit card payment. You will always receive an itemised statement for this.
Can I rent without a credit card?
