Are there any charges for additional drivers?
Iedereen met een geldig rijbewijs mag de door jou gehuurde auto besturen. Daarom moet je een kopie van de rijbewijzen van de andere chauffeurs vooraf aan ons doorgeven. Als wij niet van alle bestuurders een kopie hebben, is de huurauto niet altijd verzekerd. Houd er rekening mee dat de auto onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid gehuurd is. Voor overtredingen en dergelijke blijf je als eerste bestuurder aansprakelijk. Voor extra bestuurders vragen wij een toeslag.
Can I return the rental car outside opening hours?
Yes, you certainly can. You can park the car in the street (do bear in mind driveways and nearby residents!) and deposit the key in the designated secure key box. The next morning, the car will be checked by us. We stress that you are responsible until then!
How and when will I get my deposit back?
When you return the car, the deposit paid will be deducted from the rental. So you usually get money back.
- Got the deposit with PIN paid you will get the deposit back by bank.
- If you make the deposit with a credit card paid, you can pay the rent by credit card, or by PIN.
- The refund of the deposit to your bank account is done within 3 working days.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Als je bij Adrem een auto huurt, vragen wij bij het ophalen een borg. De borg is minimaal € 250. Vanaf categorie C (middenklasse en groter) kun je de borg alleen met creditcard betalen. Bij de kleinere auto’s en de bestelbussen kan het ook met PIN.

What do I need to rent a car?
When you rent a car with Adrem, we ask for two proofs of identity. A driving licence is one of them. The second may be a passport or a European identity card. We also need an address identification: a recent pay slip, a bank statement or a telephone bill (maximum 4 weeks old).
